I want to give you a little peek into my mindset journey because let me tell you, it hasn’t been easy. When it comes to my mindset, I’m SUPER careful about the thoughts that I let play in my head. Is it always easy? Heck no. I had to re-train my brain to gravitate towards POSITIVE thoughts, first.
In this episode, you learn a bit about my background (from a tumor-thing in my head and a HORRIBLE mindset) and how I transitioned my mindset to how it is today – calm, focused, and powerful.
Back in the day (especially when first building my business) I was super judge-y of myself. I would compare myself to EVERYONE else on the internet (bleh) and in turn, my business would stay stuck. Ew.
How you do one thing is how you do everything. So believing that you’re not good enough in one area, it reflects all over your life.
It’s YOUR JOB to keep your mindset in check. You are responsible for your thoughts and the energy you bring into this world.
Here are some quick tips :
- STOP FOCUSING ON OTHERS ONLINE – easier said than done, right? I’ve actually gone as far as to ‘hide’ everyone’s posts on Facebook so that the ONLY ONES I SEE when I log on are who I choose to. This eliminates the SMACK IN THE FACE of negative posts/energy when logging on to social media
- STOP JUDGING YOURSELF – the comparison game is the thief of joy. Focus on what YOU’RE putting out into the world. Not what others are doing.
- SET UP SYSTEMS to pull you out of a mindset funk – maybe that’s going for a walk, art, shopping, etc. Whatever it is that you need to do to get yourself high vibe again? Do it. Your mindset is the key to your happiness.
