If you haven’t heard about scheduling your social media posts (and all posts for that matter!) BUCKLE UP! This is juicy.
Scheduling your content can literally be a game changer for you and your business. Not only is it SUPER helpful in free-ing up your time so that you can focus on other important things, but it also keeps your in front of your audience, consistently. BOOM! So good.
Now, this doesn’t mean schedule your posts and disappear offline. It means schedule your posts, and engage on them for a specific amount of time per day. I typically like to BULK SCHEDULE – meaning I pick a day where all I’m doing is scheduling out my social media posts for the week, month, even year! I’ve actually schedule email campaigns months in advance because I knew I’d be traveling and didn’t want to skip it.
There are several providers that make this possible:
Hootsuite & Buffer are my favorites!
Both are SUPER simple (and cheap!) to use and can connect to multiple social media accounts. Win win! You DON’T need a post for Facebook, then another for Instagram, then a new one for Twitter and so on. You can spread your same message over multiple platforms and reach a larger audience!
I also like Later.com or Planoly.com for Instragram posts!
Both of these services let you see how your photos will look next to each other and you can schedule your posts easily. Planoly also lets you save hashtags so it’s easy to copy and paste them into your posts verses writing them out one by one each time. TIME SAVER!!!
Tailwind for Pinterest is another fun automation platform.
If you’re a Pinaholic like me, you may like Tailwind to schedule pins from your blog posts. Super easy to use and you can even engage with others and build relationships directly in the Tailwind dashboard! Super cool.
